Just A Minor Thing

Commissioned by the Illinois Music Educators Association for their 2002 All-State Jazz Ensemble, this driving swinger works well at a variety of tempos (144-196) and gives all sections a chance to shine at one time or another. It also lets directors customize the open solo section according to the strengths of their particular group. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued.
