Description
The writings of the Swiss pastor and poet Kurt Marti are characterised by a wide-ranging discussion on belief which frequently takes on a political dimension. This also applies to the poems which Heinz Holliger has selected for his work hölle himmel: a vision of life after death is accompanied by numerous other more worldly themes ranging from the unbridled avarice of multinational companies to the recognition that ’atomic waste will kill our grandchildren’.
