Description
In his exercise book Expression through Sound, Henrik Wiese introduces practising musicians to the secrets of how to change the sound of the flute in a specific way and use it to enhance musical expression. His work is aimed at anyone who wants to expand the expressive range of their flute playing, but above all at students and prospective students. It draws on Wiese‘s experience as a winner of major competitions, as a soloist, as principal flautist at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as a university lecturer. Some audio examples are available for download.
