Danse Folâtre

A major virtuoso effort commissioned by the U.S. Air Force Band to display the exceptional capabilities of each section of the band. To celebrate the 25th year of its publication, the work has been re-engraved with expanded parts and a striking conductors score. It remains a crown jewel in the concert band repertoire and a tour de force among Smiths compositions. The vivace finale is as thrilling as any ending youve ever conducted. It is without peer, a truly exceptional and demanding work designed only for the most experienced and mature bands.
