Da steht geschrieben

Da steht geschrieben is based on Svoboda's Die Bücher der Zeiten (2010) for three female voices, trombone and percussion. This composition, on the other hand, is based on parts of the monumental eponymous poem which was written by Friedrich Hölderlin at an early age based on the Revelation of St. John and which specifies the deeds of mankind, their horrors, achievements and blessings. The instrumental accompaniment, here on the harp, lends an archaic touch to the dramatic chant.
