Contemplation in Blue

This work for clarinet or bass clarinet solo was written in 1990 for a concert of Kyllönen's works at the Centre Culturel Suédois à Paris in 1990 and premiered by the French clarinettist Alain Seve. A work in one movement, it concentrates on the contemplation of shades of blue and also contains elements of blues.
