My Concerto grosso, with its festive, playful and colourful character, is a joyful exploration of the great genre of the concerto, ranging stylistically from the Renaissance to rock music. Developed specifically for the needs and requirements of the Halle Medical Faculty Orchestra, it is a multi-movement, spirited composition with a very lively energy, whose melodic and rhythmic techniques are inspired by non-European and very old European musical cultures.
