Χρώμα (Chroma)

The flute acts in a confident and virtuoso manner in the solo pieces by Bernd Richard Deutsch, going through the entire colour wheel of the sound spectrum and performing even sudden changes of light and enthralling breaks. In this work, the internationally popular Austrian composer explores the limits of the flautist's instrumental skills, encouraging the performer to bring the flute's large variety of tonal nuances and its agility onto the stage.
