4 Studies for Cello

These studies inspire and bring variety to everyday practicing! Cellist Susanne Paul combines classical, jazz, rock and world music in her work. Her 4 Studies are stylistically influenced by various of these genres and sometimes require special playing techniques. For example, in the etude "Chop Rock" the "chopping", which originates from bluegrass, is used (explanations in the edition), as well as in the "Fingerpicking Study" the plucking technique originating from the folk guitar. In addition to short introductory texts on the etudes and playing techniques, the edition contains accompaniment parts for a second cello for three etudes.
