This vibrant and soaring original work opens with a bright fanfare intro that quickly transitions into a heroic theme over driving percussion. A gentle and reflective middle section features the lyrical capabilities of the woodwind section before passing on to the brass. The piece culminates in a dramatic recapitulation of the main theme with slight rhythmical variations.
