D'Aon Ghuth

A companion volume to D'Aon Ghuth 1 and 2, this book contains another 10 highly entertaining and enjoyable Irish-language songs, appropriate to the language, musical and vocal ability of senior primary school children (5th to 6th Classes). These brand new songs will again stimulate pupils both musically and linguistically, as well as allowing them ot explore a variety of moods and emotions. Choirs at secondary level should also find something here to interest them; the songs are ideal for use in competitions and make excellent concert showpieces for any age group.

D'Aon Ghuth is intended for use with the Irish national curriculum for music from 2005. There are suggested activities for pupils and helpful notes for teachers. A CD is included, containing brilliantly scored backing tracks and high-quality sample performances.
