Written in a simmering medium tempo, this distinctive funk chart opens with the bass establishing the groove gradually joined by the rest of the rhythm section. A small combo of soprano sax, baritone sax, trumpet and trombone take the first statement followed by the full ensemble on intricate unison lines as well as tutti ensemble punches and riffs.
