Beschreibung
Influenced by the motion and force of water, this piece contains some of the darkest and most tumultuous music I have written. It is made up of different kinds of waves - waves of dynamics and texture, of pitch and of speed. From points of relative stillness the music accumulates, breaks, pours out and recedes before the cycle begins again.
Following on from The Air, Turning, this piece is the second (a darker sequel) in a trilogy of works engaging with the mysterious nature of our perception of the world around us.
