Wood On Wood

This album, like the others in the series,serves several purposes. Initially,it is educational so that students and other musicians can see what the pros do with a chord progression; secondly, it’s good listening jazz for anyone, and thirdly, it affords musicians throughout the world the opportunity to play these solos, on their own, with some of the best jazz musicians in the world backing them up. All of Ron’s solos have been written out faithfully and accurately (they were transcribed by Buddy DeFranco) and are enclosed.
