The Loquat in Five Colors

The loquat tree, with its graceful form, stands as a unique sight in nature. The composer holds a refined aesthetic appreciation for subtropical plants, having created numerous musical works inspired by them, including Manluo, Crape Myrtle, Scent of Green Mango, Hyacinth,  Gardenia, Golden Hydrangea, and Enchanted Bamboo. The symphonic overture The Loquat in Five Colors, imbued with elements of rhapsody, is the first piece in the composer’s „Plants“ series. Through a distinctive musical language, it vividly conveys the composer‘s vision of untamed, vibrant life forms. Drawing inspiration from the natural environment, the work expresses a deep admiration for the harmony and exuberance of all living beings.
