Description

Martin and Schecki are inseparable. They rattle through the village on their motorbikes, dive into the village pond despite this being prohibited, and get up to all kinds of tricks in the neighbours’ orchards and with Schecki’s ancient grandma. They are oblivious to the fact that the atmosphere in the village is beginning to change. People are turning against Schecki’s family just because they are different and strange. One morning, they are taken away by the immigration police. Martin is only able to process his horror at this incident many years later. Elisabeth Naske
