Complete Stage Works

The operas of Richard Strauss are among the most frequently performed stage works of the 20th Century. His instinct for musical shape and dramatic stage design, his brilliant orchestration as well as his collaboration with eminent writers such as Hugo von Hofmannsthal truly set his works apart.

The Richard Strauss Edition comprises 18 volumes and is available with either a linen or leather binding. Each volume contains important orchestral information, information about the first performance and a facsimile page of the autograph score.
