Description
Over the course of almost three decades, the German version of the Russian Piano Method has become a standard work for piano lessons. The work, edited by Julia Suslin, is published in two volumes and is complemented by a tune book. The Russian Piano Method is available either with or without audio CDs with recordings of the pieces contained therein.
The second volume of Russische Klaviermusik, published in March 2014, further expands the collection of pieces by composers from Russia and the former Soviet republics. As in the first volume, the aim is to present the Russian-Soviet piano literature, which abounds in melodious and appealing pieces, as broadly as possible. The collection of moderately difficult pieces is aimed at players of all ages - not only children and young people, but also more experienced adult players looking for piano literature beyond the standard repertoire. This edition is not intended to be a piano method, but rather a collection of particularly beautiful pieces to enhance the lessons.
