Description
The first performance of this short stage work without a plot was given during an event held under the motto of 'anti-operas'. In adherence to this motto, Riten consistently evades all attempts to pin down a logical sequence of actions. The appeal of this work lies in the combination of instrumentally constructed vocal parts and dance elements which develop independently, entering into an imitative competition and finally coming together.
