À propos de Oleg Khudyakov
Oleg Khudyakov completed his studies as a flutist at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and his studies as a conductor at the Glinka Conservatory in Nizhny Novgorod. He concertized for many years under the direction of distinguished conductors and with the leading Moscow orchestras, and participated in numerous CD productions (among others, with Mikhail Pletjev). He was one of the first musicians in Russia to play the traverse flute and founded the Baroque trio Orpharion which performs on historical instruments. As a flutist, he has also become known for his first performances and premieres of contemporary works (by Gubaidulina, Schnittke, Denisov, and Suslin). Since 1997, Khudyakov has been musical director and conductor for opera and ballet performances at the historical Ostankino Ballroom Theater in Moscow. Here, he has led performances of operas by Rameau, Gluck, Grétry, Sarti, and Mozart (“The Goose of Cairo”). Khudyakov is currently professor for flute, Early Music, and New Music at the Moscow Conservatory.Produits
