Description

These pieces will augment my existing quartet Peculiar Strokes. My work increasingly explores the physical act of playing musical instruments – what it looks and feels like to make sounds – and with that in mind each of these short pieces explores a different, perhaps peculiar way that a bow can come in contact with the strings of the violin, viola, and cello.
