Description
Dr. Ox has set up a crazy experiment: he plans to feed a special type of gas into local supplies to stimulate the brain activity of his fellow inhabitants. Immediately, the music in the village is played faster and people become more active, but the situation subsequently gets out of hand when the levels of gas are increased and finally the gas works explode - all vividly depicted in musical form by Jean Françaix with consummate humour.
