Stefan Heucke evokes four character traits of the Old Testament God in his III. Symphony ’Sch’má Jissra’él’ op. 54 with a duration of around fifty minutes: God the inimitable, the God of mercy, the God of punishment and the blessed God of peace. This work in four movements was composed in 2008/09.
