Description

The five-movement organ concerto Hiob deals with the story of passion and knowledge from the book of the same name in the Old Testament. Enjott Schneider has placed great importance on making ideas of French philosopher Simone Weil and the lyricist Nelly Sachs the basis of the musical texture, so that together they contribute to a deeper understanding of this difficult subject.
