Description
In honour of the composer’s 90th birthday, Schott has published a selection of songs by Mikis Theodorakis entitled Echowand [Echo Wall]. The volume contains thirteen pieces selected by the soprano Johanna Krumin in new, highly spirited arrangements by the composer and violinist Sebastian Schwab. ‘At the age of 90, it is such a great pleasure to create youthful and adventurous music, rather than music that merely rests on its laurels.’ (Mikis Theodorakis)
