Echo and Narcissus is a setting of Ted Hughes’ poem by the same name from his collection Tales from Ovid, retellings of Ovid’s Latin myths. Ryan Wigglesworth reworks the text between the tenor, alto and three accompanying female voices, bringing to life the story of the nymph Echo who falls in love with Narcissus, who loves only himself.
