Feature your drummer in this original work paying tribute to drummer Danny D’Imperio, whose experience is “deep” as he has played with Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, Chuck Mangione, the Vanguard Orchestra and others. Utilizing a bright bebop feel, this chart was inspired by Victor Feldman’s Seven Steps To Heaven, as recorded by Miles Davis.
