Children's Corner, Clair de Lune

This score, arranged for orchestra by his friend, the composer André Caplet, contains all six pieces of the piano suite „Children’s Corner“, which he composed for his beloved daughter Chouchou, as well as „Clair de Lune“ from the Suite Bergamasque. This orchestral repertoire has received increasing performances in recent years, not only in Europe and the United States, but also in Japan. This is the first score to be published in Japan.
Accompanied by commentary by composer and musicologist Tami Nodaira, known for her meticulous analysis, this book offers a deeper understanding not only of the orchestration, but also of Debussy's original score.
