Cuban Latin Guitar

“Cuban Latin Guitar” is a practical teaching guide for guitarists who want to get familiar with Cuban Latin music. This book focusses on four styles in detail: Son, Cha-Cha-Cha, Bolero and  Danzón. The basic rhythmic patterns such as clave and cinquillo cubano are also explained. 

After working with this book/CD, you will have an insight into different fingerpicking techniques and accompaniments with a pick that work with each style and will prepare you for playing with a band or a duo. Every chapter closes with an original composition, including full transcriptions of the melody and the accompaniment. Tres line examples are also included.
