The Eugenie Rocherolle Collection
Product Details
Description
This unique collection features 19 pieces by Eugenie Rocherolle (1936-2025) written in her nearly two decades as an exclusive composer for Hal Leonard. Most were selected by the composer herself. Her music was often inspired by her birthplace, the great city of New Orleans, as well as Paris and the beautiful French countryside. Although her publishing career began with choral and band music, her teaching expertise, combined with her pianistic instincts soon propelled her to be one of the top educational piano composers of her generation. Two pieces - Memories and October Swing - were composed especially for this collection.
