Description
To supplement his 'European Piano Method', Fritz Emonts has published a number of accompanying tune books deepening the lessons and providing literature for all important epochs in music history. The present book with pieces from the classical period can be used simultaneously with vols. 2 and 3 of the method, also containing rare pieces from the rococo, pre-classical and classical eras. Among them are works by the Bach sons and Hook, Diabelli, Galuppi, Hässler, Kirnberger, Reichardt and many more. The new edition enlarged to 48 pages now also contains some of the well-known early Mozart pieces K 1 - K 3, the Rondo in D major K 15d as well as Beethoven's Sonatinas in F major and G major and the classic 'For Elise'. European Piano Method
The 'evergreen' among the piano methods for more than 20 years – still well-liked and frequently used in beginner's lessons today. Due to the selection of international pieces as well as the multiple languages the 'European Piano Method' lives up to its name: Originally published in the languages German, English and French, it is now also available in the language combination Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
For piano beginners from the age of 4 – but also for young and adult beginners without previous knowledge
- Beginning with improvisation, playing by ear – at first without notes:
to activate the sense of hearing and train the auditory memory - Playful first steps through the black keys, with the pentatonic scale as basis for first improvisations
- Special yellow 'teacher's pages' contain suggestions and tips, providing even more flexibility in the individual work with the pupils.
In 1993, an interview between Fritz Emonts and former editor-in-chief of Schott Music, Dr. Rainer Mohrs, was published in the specialist journal üben & musizieren.
