Description
The Easy Funk Play-Along series for wind and brass instruments now also contains parts for the rhythm section. Now it is possible to provide live accompaniment to a varied wind ensemble consisting of flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets and/or trombones (4 parts in each tune book with CD) on piano/keyboards, guitar, electric bass and percussion – ideal for school and music school ensembles.
The score and all parts are available individually and can be used simultaneously in instrumental lessons.

Easy-Funk Play-Along books by Ed Harlow contains cool grooves for beginners. The beat is provided by The Boston Horns band, and the melody and accompanying grooves are set in easy arrangements and can be played by up to 4 players of the same instrument. This allows Easy Funk Play-Along to be used for individual practising or for (group) lessons.
The solo passages are based around the pentatonic scale and particularly suitable for the first steps into improvisation. Each song comes with an alternative 'funky' solo song which can be practised with the play-along track.
