Description

The Untersberg Mountain in the Bavarian Alps is a geomantic hotspot steeped in mythical legend from the Celtic period. This flat-topped mountain, designated by the Dalai Lama as the 'heart chakra of Europe', is a source of mystic light and gravitational phenomena, where humans have repeatedly gone missing. It is said that the 400 caves, the largest of which is 16 km in length with a depth of 1000 m, harbour mysteries and a rich mythical world with wild armies and sleeping emperors.

The four movements of this Symphony of the Alps bring to life the kingdom of the dwarfes and the subterranean mirrored world culminating in a depiction of the hollowed out mountain as the primordial mother, both healing and killing – an apotheosis of matriarchal primal energy. Enjott Schneider
