Summer Motifs

Looduspildid (Nature Pictures) consists of four cycles depicting varying atmospheres of different seasons: 1. Kevadkillud (Spring Sketches), 2. Suvemotiivid (Summer Motifs), 3. Sügismaastikud (Autumn Landscapes) and Talvemustrid (Winter Patterns). Tormis wrote the songs in 1964-69 to texts by contemporary poets, and Suvemotiivid uses texts by Aleksander Suuman.
