Piilo - Contemporary music and improvisation cards

Piilo is a unique collection of contemporary pieces and improvisation exercises for the saxophone for pupils, professionals and anyone in between, commissioned and curated by saxophonist Kalle Oittinen. Foreword and instructions in English are included. The collection consists of works both for Solo alto saxophone and alto saxophone & piano, as well as a set of "hide cards" for improvisation and composing exercises. The cards can be used with any instrument.

A unique collection of works and improvisational exercises for the saxophone was created around contemporary music works commissioned by saxophonist Kalle Oittinen. The Piilo cards included in the publication can be used to practice modern saxophone playing techniques as well as improvisation and composition. The ensemble has something to play for both those at the basic level of the music school and for professionals - and everyone in between! The hidden cards and tasks related to them, as well as the additional material that can be downloaded from the Internet, can also be used for instruments other than the saxophone.
