(Valentine Tregashian Considers...)
Cantata for 16 voice SATB chorus and large ensemble
SATB chorus and large ensemble
Originally written for Dutch organist Jan Hage with financial support from the Fund for the Creation of new Music. It was first performed by the ASKO ensemble in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam in 2001. Valentine Tregashian Considers... "For some reason the artist Valentine Tregashian has lost the will to communicate in any way other than through music. Any question put to the artist will receive a piece of music as a reply. Sometimes mischievous village children ask the artist little questions just to hear the strange musical answers. Sometimes composers ask the kind of questions that have no answers and write down what they hear."
