In the book presented here, Arend Weitzel has developed a method in which the exercises become increasingly more difficult in a barely noticeable manner. "The exercises in the first part are based on the principle of how to derivate special rhythms from an easy way of drumming. This is achieved by slow rhythmic changes in small steps which are easy to follow. The exercises in the second part deal with a detailed and systematic way in which the change between 2 respectively 4 kettledrums is being practised".
