Ein Stück, das man in Stresssituationen wohl besser nicht hört. "Continuum“ von György Ligeti ist eines der berühmtesten Werke der 1960er Jahre, ein Klassiker der Moderne. Entspannen kann man sich dabei nicht. Auf der ständigen Suche nach einem festen Haltepunkt wird das Ohr zunehmend verwirrt und gerät, wie der ebenfalls geforderte Spieler, in Stress. Der klimperkastenartige Klang des Cembalos trägt den Rest dazu bei, dass der Zuhörer binnen kurzer Zeit anfängt, wenn auch vielleicht nicht enerviert, so doch zumindest nervös zu werden.
