Alla Hornpipe

Handel's 'Alla Hornpipe' from 'Water Music' is one of the best-known pieces of music from the Baroque era. With its rich melody and harmony and the inimitable tonal splendour of the Baroque era, this music delights both listener and performer alike. The well-known composer and organist Jean Guillou has transcribed the piece for the organ and added a very original virtuoso cadence, thus creating an extremely rewarding encore piece for organ concerts.
