Chris Morgan

 


Chris Morgan is the Series Editor of Boosey Woodwind and Brass Method, the first method to respond to the changing demands in teaching by making individual and group teaching easier, more integrated and more effective.

Chris' posts have included Head of Instrumental services with ILEA and Director of Instrumental Teacher Training at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Chris has also been responsible for professional and curriculum development programmes for Cornwall Education Authority the ABRSM and numerous music services in the UK and overseas. He is currently co-director of Music and Dance Education in Cornwall. Chirs has been involved in instrumental music education for more than 30 years as a clarinet teacher, woodwind coach and conductor. His workshos appeal to both young people and instrumental teachers.

Chris' workshops focus on the skills necessary for all musicians, be they young, old, professional or amateur. He uses a combination of notation and no-notation based exercises to cover a wide range of subjects including practicing, interpretation, performing and recording. His workshops embrace features of his holistic musical approach.
