Peter Bowman

Peter Bowman has written extensively on recorder teaching and performance, including the translation and adaptation of a major new recorder method for Schott, Fun and Games with the Recorder.

Peter has adjudicated at a number of national and international recorder competitions in Germany, Holland, Australia and for the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, and is a consultant for recorder to the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. He has been teacher of recorder at Canterbury Christ Church University since 1992, when he also founded the UK branch of the European Recorder Teachers’ Association (ERTA).
