Hugh Burns

 

 
Hugh Burns has been a successful studio musician for over 25 years. He has released six solo CDs, played with many leading artists, including Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson and George Michael, and has recorded and toured in over 30 countries.
 
Hugh is a master at a variety of styles. His work can be heard on more than a hundred major filmand TV soundtracks and over 40 of his compositions have been recorded.
 
His clear introduction to the world of Rock Guitar has become very popular with students everywhere. Hugh has given workshops on a variety of guitar styles at venues such as the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, the Guitar Instutute and Strathclyde University.
 
In his workshops Hugh tailors the content to suit the students. He can focus workshops on Rock, Classical, Folk and Jazz guitar and discusses and demonstrate how the different styles of playing can influence each other.
