Nick Beston

 

 
Nick Beston has over 20 years of teaching experience specialising in saxophone improvisation and is the author of Improvising Blues Saxophone. 
 
Nick is a highly regarded sax player, teacher and composer. His sax solos can be heard on film, television and radio and he has recorded 3 CDs for the label Recorded Time, with his jazz quartet, NBQ. He is currently head of Jazz and Contemporary Music for Sevenoaks School, Kent.
 
Nick's workshops cover all aspects of jazz, blues and pop saxophone to players of any ability, from beginners through to undergraduate or higher. Alternatively he runs workshops on jazz improvisation to any group of musicians on any combination of instruments.
