Vocal Warm-Ups - Vocal Formation

Regular voice training has a positive effect on the choral sound – that has been noticed more and more in the past years.

Today, warming up before rehearsing is part of the weekly choir practice of most choirs. Like an athlete who keeps in shape with regular exercises and does a warm-up run before every event, or like a violinist who has to tune his instrument before every performance, the choir singer has to warm up his instrument – both his body and voice – and even the choir as a group has to be \'warmed up\' anew again and again.
