Organ - Journal für die Orgel

ORGAN - Journal für die Orgel is an upmarket specialist magazine for organ experts and lovers of organ music.

The magazine has been published four times a year (optionally with CD) since 1990 and is edited by Wolfram Adolph, Protestant theologian and owner of the organ label IFO.

Each issue of the magazine deals with a specific subject concerning the pipe organ. Regular sections contain portraits and interviews, articles on instruments, organ building, organ aesthetics and repertoire, as well as on the theory and practice of interpretation. The Reviews section contains reviews of CDs, DVDs, books and scores. In addition, the magazine provides the latest information on events featuring the organ, competitions and master classes.

Each issue of ORGAN – Journal für die Orgel is accompanied by a CD recorded by excellent performers.
