Neue Zeitschrift für Musik

In 1834 Robert Schumann founded the NEUE ZEITSCHRIFT FÜR MUSIK. Since then, the magazine, edited by Rolf W. Stoll, has been dealing with the particular movements of music prevailing at any given period - in a thorough, multi-faceted, competent and critical manner.

Each of the essays of renowned authors deals with a music-related main theme, while often taking a look at other arts and special fields. Such a theme is complemented by a large number of articles on other topics, portraits and interviews.

Cultural and educational themes of current interest, interviews and discussions, reports on premieres, CD and DVD reviews as well as information on current premieres paint an overall picture of the New Music scene in Germany and Europe.

The magazine is published six times a year.
