CD-set with erotic illustrations by the New York avantgarde painter Alexander Zakharov.
For his setting of "Catulli Carmina" (Songs of Catullus), Orff was inspired by the famous distich "Odi et amo - I hate and I love" by Catullus. He called the structure of the work a "double puzzle play between youth and old age, Eros and Sexus".
