Profile

Born in Seoul in 1961 and studied musical composition there from 1981–85. From 1985–88 studied under György Ligeti in Hamburg. Since 1988 she has been living in Berlin, where she works in the electronic studio of the Technische Universität Berlin. Since 2006 Composer-in-residence of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
