Katharina Wagner, geboren 1978 in Bayreuth, studierte Theaterwissenschaft in Berlin. Ab 1996 Regieassistenzen bei Harry Kupfer und den Bayreuther Festspielen. 2002 Regiedebüt, 2007 führte sie erstmals in Bayreuth Regie (Die Meistersinger).
