No. 5 (original version) was first performed by Mary Weigold and the Composers Ensemble at the ICA, London on 8 November 1992.  Nos. 1 & 2 were first broadcast as part of the BBC's 'Fairest Isle' series by Sarah Leonard and an ensemble directed by Gavin Bryars.
